Bob Olchawa |
direct 602.743.7911 Robert@480NewDigs.com Growing up in Naperville, Illinois, Bob had aspirations of becoming a residential Architect for as long as he can remember. He studied drafting in High School and spent 2 years as an architectural draftsman and apprentice before moving to Tempe to finish his studies at Arizona State University. While studying and working full time for a local business, he was singled out by ownership for his leadership skills, operational understanding and business acumen. Through a series of promotions he soon became one of the top branch managers, for what was becoming one of the largest privately held corporations in the United States. After a merger with the largest worldwide shipping provider, Bob was asked to take a senior leadership role where he mentored top managers, implemented operational procedures that would be adopted nationally and played a key role in negotiating contracts with several large fortune 500 companies, non-for profit organizations and federal agencies. Never losing his enjoyment and appreciation for architecture, a majority of his free time was spent on remodeling and improvement projects. While waiting for a flight home from a leadership conference, a peer commented on how he noticed that Bob had become somewhat of a consultant to many of his peers, advising on remodeling projects and buying properties for investment. It was shortly after that he decided to join his wife in the real estate game full time. |
